Black Twitter went IN on television pitchman Nelly for promoting Cheerios instead of commenting on the police shooting death of 18-year-old Mike Brown. Nelly's followers roasted the 39-year-old former rapper after he posted a photo of himself holding an "iced out" box of Cheerios on his Twitter.com account today. The unarmed Brown was shot to death after scuffling with a Ferguson, Mo. police officer on Saturday. Nelly and his family moved to nearby St. Louis, Mo. when he was a young boy, and he still owns a home in the area.

Anonymous, the group of cyber "hacktivists" who are known to wreak havoc on the Internets, continued their cyber onslaught on officials of the St. Louis and Ferguson police departments. The group hacked into city servers to retrieve personal information which they threatened to leak onto the Internet if the name of the officer who shot and killed unarmed 18-year-old Mike Brown was not released.

Ferguson

Anonymous, the collective of cyber "hacktivists" who are known to wreak havoc on the Internets, reportedly hacked into the website of the city of Ferguson, Mo., Sunday night.

To prevent any hacking attempts, the mayor of Ferguson ordered the IT department to take down the city's servers overnight. Despite the IT department's best efforts, none of the city's email servers were working Monday morning. The action came after Anonymous threatened to leak the personal information of Ferguson police officers in the wake of the police shooting of 18-year-old Mike Brown.
