Shock singer Lady Gaga hoped last night would cap her big comeback after her long hiatus to undergo hip surgery. But Gaga’s well-laid plans of mischief and mayhem for the MTV VMA’s were foiled by young upstart Miley Cyrus, who had plans of her own.
Cyrus, who has twerked her way into the hearts of hoodrats everywhere, hit the stage twerking in a teeny, tiny vinyl bikini. Cyrus’s controversial booty poppin’ shocked veteran actor Will Smith who brought along his two children. After the slutty performance, comedian Kevin Hart quipped, “Miley better get a pregnancy test after all that twerkin’.”
Here’s last night’s recap:
TV One’s series premiere of “R&B Divas LA” was the most watched program of the year among ages 25-54. The series follows the lives of West Coast R&B Divas Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le, and Dawn Robinson. In episode 2, the ladies gathered at Kelly’s house to celebrate Chante Moore’s birthday. After feasting on lobster tails, shrimp and other delicacies, the women agreed to share their most intimate, personal stories with each other. Chante revealed that she lost her virginity to an older man at age 17. “I was 17 but I didn’t lose it, I felt like the guy took it,” said Chante.
R&B Divas Monica Brown, Kelly Rowland, SWV and KeKe Wyatt have joined forces to promote the ‘Yell Confidence’ public service announcement and campaign.
According to Singersroom.com, rappers Mc Lyte, Trina and Spinderella are also putting together PSA’s to support the campaign to benefit the Saving Our Daughters initiative. Celebrity photographer Derek Blanks worked with Rowland to hone her portion of the PSA.
The Yell Confidence campaign brings awareness to domestic violence in the black community.

When Janet Jackson’s nipple made its debut during the 2004 Super Bowl, the FCC slapped her with one of the biggest fines in television history.

Ortiz wasn’t in a bar or in the team locker room when he uttered his ill-timed expletive. He dropped his F-bomb at crowded Fenway Park in Boston — and millions more on live TV heard him.
