Axl Rose became embroiled in a Twitter beef with U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin on Wednesday.

The Guns N' Roses frontman denounced the hedge fund multi-millionaire out of the blue on the social media site on Wednesday, May 6.

Axl may know Mnuchin from his previous gig in entertainment as a film producer,

"It’s official! Whatever anyone may have previously thought of Steve Mnuchin he's officially an a**hole," he tweeted.

Mnuchin responded to Axl by asking, "What have you done for the country lately?", initially alongside a Liberian flag emoji, before deleting the tweet and reposting with the correct U.S. flag.

This provoked the 58-year-old rocker into a furious tirade about President Trump's response to the Covid-19 crisis.

"My bad I didn't get we're hoping 2 emulate Liberia's economic model but on the real unlike this admin I'm not responsible for 70k+ deaths n' unlike u I don't hold a fed gov position of responsibility 2 the American people n' go on TV tellin them 2 travel the US during a pandemic," Axl tweeted, referring to plans to "reopen" America by ending lockdowns designed to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

In 2018 Axl also clashed with Trump over the President's decision to play Guns N' Roses music at his rallies.

Former lovers Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj are currently trading jabs and insults on Twitter.com.

As far as I can tell, the beef started when Meek Mill and Nicki's husband got into a shouting match at a strip club last week.

On Wednesday, Nicki threw low-key shade at Meek Mill by posting a video of herself rapping to her track "Yikes."

"Woke up, the price of coke up / I just hit 'em with the low cut, then call my folks up / Somebody 'bout to get poked up, go call the tow truck / All that talking out your neck might just get your throat cut."

She captioned the video: "I play tag & you #IT for life. You a [clown emoji] you do it for likes. #Yikes."

She followed that up by tweeting: "Trigger fingers turn to #TwitterFingers bad built face ass obsessed with the Queen."

"Nigga been tweeting bout my man for a year now. Talking bout he went to my page to see him but he was blocked. My nigga, move on. I know ya btch embarrassed. Shitted yaself in that store when u got pressed tho."

Wiz Khalifa Kanye West

When most celebrities bicker back and forth on Twitter.com it hardly rates a mention.

But when Kanye West starts a Twitter war with any rapper, it's worth grabbing a tub of popcorn and stalking his Twitter timeline.

Kanye and Wiz Khalifa are warring on Twitter.com over a slight misunderstanding. It all started yesterday when Khalifa commented on Kanye changing the name of his hotly anticipated album from Swish to Waves.
