Former Ball State football player Wendell Brown has languished in a Chinese jail for over 500 days, and his parents are still waiting for answers from the U.S. government. Brown, 32, was arrested after a bar fight in 2016. Surveillance video shows Brown defending himself as bottles were being thrown at him.

Dakota Access Pipeline

The Army Corps of Engineers informed the Oceti tribe that it will halt work on the Dakota Access pipeline in order to conduct an environmental impact study.

The government’s decision comes after weeks of sometimes violent conflicts between police and tribal members who objected to an oil pipeline on the sacred grounds of the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.

Amazon Plans Drone Deliveries

This is not a joke. Amazon.com, the world’s largest online shopping retailer, plans to begin delivering packages into customers’ hands by use of remote controlled drones.

The U.S. government already uses drones in military operations to drop bombs on the heads of unsuspecting terrorists. But don’t be surprised if one of Amazon’s drones drops that package you ordered on your head in 30 minutes or less.
