Raquel Harper, former host of TMZ's Raq Rants, updated her Instagram followers who continuously asked why she left TMZ.

Harper was host of her own popular Youtube series, Raq Rants, and as a producer for TMZ. Her popular web series was picked up by BET TV for 12 half-hour episodes in 2018.

In response to the many inquiries about her absence from TMZ's airwaves, Harper announced that she is pregnant with her third child and she has been in and out of the hospital with pregnancy-related problems.

"I have been in and out of the hospital a number of times what felt like my death bed," she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on Monday.

"As you all see I am six months pregnant and have been suffering horribly with hyperemesis gravidarum that has been literally a fucking miserable time.... Just to name a few things that happens weight lost over 40 pounds... low blood pressure..countless Iv drips and vomiting over ten times a day literally not to mention deep depression..I am still not even fully cool yet but definitely way better than I was up into only a week and a half ago...So I am excited though to share we are having a baby girl and she due on @taco_mell birthday April 27."

Despite her health problems, Harper says she plans to return to TMZ on Thursday.
