Aww, how crute! Laila Ali and her husband, former NFL player Curtis Conway, introduced their new baby, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr, in this month’s issue of OK! magazine.

OK! magazine, which is known to spend a grip on baby photos, recently announced it was getting out of the baby photo buying business. Apparently because the Angelina/Brad twins cover — for which OK! paid about $14 mil — tanked.

Anyway, Laila was already a step mom to Curtis’s three children – twin boys and a girl. Congrats to the happy couple!

bird my cyber sista you can HAVE my two. i have a 13 yo that can clean, and she can wash clothes, and she evens knows how to cook a few things. i have also have a 3 yo. she is good for comedic purposes but with a few years i plan to have her azz on the same track as her sister. i must warn you that even though they are 2 female children…they eat the equivalent of 3 male children. so…where do you want me to deliver them to??

I think it’s a photoshop thing. My kids took a pic and one of my daughters looks like Grace Jones with the cheek bones and strong eyes, my other daughter you would never know she has acne and lets just say my son looks like I have 3 daughters. They took many sets of poses that day but one particular pic looks hella crazy.

This is a nice looking family. I would love to see a pick with all the kids.

@licia i cannot take ALL the credit for training my daughter to do the cleaning/cooking/clothes thing. i sent her to stay with her grandmother over the summer and she came back programmed like that.

@mrsjonesk she had already started the eye rolling, teeth sucking, etc. and i knocked her out one day back in june. flat on her back. she was stunned. hence the trip over the summer to grannie’s. she came back UN-PROGRAMMED to do that.! LMAO. i told her grandmother what had happened and she sent me a flight confirmation via e-mail with a note that said “i’ll take it from here.”

I love being a mom……

children are a blessing-they are so precious & innocent-to me their Angels!

I have two-one adult son 22 and a daughter that’s 4, Lord knows I would have preferred to be married but my children and raising them have made me the strong woman I am today-I’m not sure where I would be if it weren’t for them.

Children give you drive and focus-and force you to grow up real fast, that’s for those of us who take our role as parents seriously!

I was a rebel growing up-having children really helped me to settle down and channel my energy and fiestiness into something more constructive-like completing college& pursuing a solid career.

My children literally keep me from cussing folks out and beating azz-I’m all they got and I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize their well-being and risk not being there for them.

Beautiful family. The baby is so precious. I want to have another baby in the next 2-3 years so my daughter can have a sibling in the household w/ her. As the oldest of 5 I can’t imagine life as an only child. Liek you Bird if I hit the lotto I would want to have more.

Girl i feel u, my children quickly changed my life, I probably didn’t know how much initally but i know now. I was too a wild child physically fighting and society wise. My ex husband went off to prison i was young and dumb and pregnant i got my azz up went and got my ged and went to college and from that point on i made a decision that those kids would not come up like me nor will they lose me, I agree i am all they have really. It’s been on ever since, I love my babies.

I think girls are so diff than boys to be honest i don’t think i will have that problem with my boys.

but little girls have attitudes and want to be grown , to me it’s a diff ballgame. My boys I don’t think will ever try to square off and if they do they will be shot in the knee caps as they will be much taller than me.

My niece who has children has a man (the kids father) in her house while she gets up and goes to work each day and he plays XBOX on HER 52′, all while drinking and smoking weed. He has no car, no job, and she has to beg her family members to watch her kids at times, all because he said he ain’t no (in his own words) “daddy daycare”.

I remember that I was SCARED to bring home a “C” to my momma, b/c I knew that I would get the crap beat out of me! Even when I got my first one in HIGH SCHOOL I didn’t want to bring my arse home!

That’s the kind of fear that children need to have of their parents, but not just fear, but RESPECT. They need to know that (good) parents know what’s good for them and to listen. kwallace and pryn, good for you!

I have a friend is has her child’s father staying with her. He doesn’t work, has no car, cheats, has no money, no diploma no nothing and she works everyday. He drives her car around with different woman and her stupid azz told me that she can’t leave him cause they have been together too long.

You know what I told her. Any man that comes up in my house with my two girls are going to need to bring something to the table.
