R&B crooner Ginuwine brought his fine self to The Velvet Room on Friday night. He must have an album about to drop? The ladies were BE-side themselves when Ginuwine walked in. But he behaved himself ’cause he knows he’s got a good woman at home.

This child hurt my feelings the other day at the mall. I spotted rap artist and TV personality Lil Mama at Lenox Square Mall two weekends ago. She was surrounded by fans so I waited my turn to introduce myself. As I approached her I thought I noted a gleam of recognition in her eye. But it must have been the overhead lighting, because when I told her who I was she responded, “WHO?” Then I mentioned Sandrarose.com and she replied, “What is that? A lifestyle blog?” Then to add insult to injury, she turned to her companions and said. “she runs a gossip blog like Concrete Poop and Y B Fake.”

OK, she didn’t describe those blogs in those exact words, but she did name them as if my blog wasn’t even in the same stratosphere. Feeling a little dejected, I walked back over to my good girlfriend (who couldn’t care less about meeting Lil Mama) and I told her what happened. “SO???”, she responded icily. “She doesn’t know your blog because she’s from New York! That shows how out of the loop she is!” Anyway, Lil Mama was in town to host a party at ESSO nightclub last week.

Busta Rhymes (who usually gets no love on Sandrarose.com) partied with his folk at Dreamz nightclub over the weekend. I’m told Busta is on high alert due to the fact that bodies are dropping all around him, and he sees the writing on the wall. Thanks to Prince Williams of ATLPICS.net for the hawt pics!

Genuwine’s hair is sexy on him….They be hating on poor Bobby Valentino for having the same type of hair, tom bout its a text…THE texture of someones hair determines how got or bad the texturizer will turn out. If someone already has naturally curly hair, say when you put water on it and it curls up (not draw up) the chemicals just gives the hair that permenant effect…All texts don’t look like theirs.

I always thought Kelly was the better singer…but Matthew forced Beyonce on us, and kept getting her those voice lessons until she managed to learn control but Kelly naturally had the ability to control her vocals already.

Lil Mama is at least mid 20s. Her face is so damn hard. If her azz wasn’t judging (still don’t know why Ciara didn’t get this spot) America’s Best Dance Crew, no one outside of NY would know who she is. She always seems to try to be bigger than what she really is IMO.

Busta lost me as a fan after the mishap at his video shoot…that literally turned into a video shoot. He, along with a lot of other people there know who killed his security guard.

Ginuwines haircut is a mess, IMO. I’ve never really felt him. Back in the day when he supposed to be poppin I thought he looked like a little Biznitch with that baby hair wrapped around the side of his face. Sooo not manly. I like my men to look like men. That comment is exactly why she didn’t have enough confidence to SELL records….you can’t even sell yourself on superstardom sweetie, how da hell you gon’ sell us. Kelly could have done anything she wanted with her music career, but she followed up behind Mattew listening to those empty promises about making her career his top priority when everyone knows Beyonce wouldn’t have dat shyt. On top of that she is surrounded around people who pat her on the back with pity and claim to support her with fake smiles and chit chat. She should’ve supported herself and made HERSELF a priority and got new management (especially after the first flop) instead of trying to be loyal. The Knowles ain thinking about you chile…that has to hurt but there just isn’t any way to sugarcoat that.

wiggy – I think you forget that most of the people posting on Sandra are adults. I know Leaders of the New School Jams and you don’t even have to be an 80s baby to know that Busta killed it at the end of Scenario. It’s what made his career pop off IMO. The Flava in Ya Ear verse only confirmed it more.

After living in GA for five years, I took my first trip to Lenox Mall on this past Saturday. From the looks of mall patrons, there was no hint of any manmade recession. I went there with my aunt (who advised me that she actually paid $80 for Coach flip flops as oppose to $60 – WT__?) and my daughter. I bet Matthew always said little things to kill Kelly’s confidence since she was a child because he was Team Bey all the way..it was business. Now Kelly has low self esteem, she doesn’t believe in herself and she sacrifices her happiness for others..usually it takes something horrible to jolt a person out of that rut..Kelly will never be broke so maybe it will be something else that finally propels her up where she belongs…she looks radiant, um with her new wig on..she is a beautiful girl and I wish her all the best! lol
