Celebs Out & About: Mo’Nique, Gucci Mane, Trina


Comedienne and Academy Award-winning actress Mo'Nique posed with a pair of 3-D glasses as she prepared to visit "Captain EO" on the film's grand re-opening day at Epcot Center in Lake Buena Vista, Fla today. The musical 3-D film, which stars Michael Jackson, was presented at Epcot from 1986-1994. After a long hiatus, the space adventure film re-opened July 2 at the Walt Disney World Resort theme park. Mo'Nique, who received an Academy Award for her role in "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire," also was among the 135 artists, performers and executives invited on June 25, 2010 to join the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Speaking of Gucci Mane, many of my readers emailed me the link to a video of rapper Gucci Mane punching a female rapper in a nightclub. Judging from the video (which you can view after the break), you can see that the female rapper walked away without a scratch on her face.

We can't say the same about Rihanna whose bloody and battered face in a police evidence photo made her the poster girl for domestic abuse.

The video is after the break. The actions starts around the 1:55 sec. mark.

    No. Of course not! I'm saying the 2 incidents do not compare. Chris Brown should have gone to prison for what he did to Rihanna. He REPEATEDLY punched and kicked Rihanna. That was a Mike Tyson style beat down. That was no mistake! A mistake would have been punching her one time. If your son did that to Rihanna, or any female, we would all be asking you what year is he getting out of prison.

    Ok Folks lets take a look at the CRIMINALS Sandra Adores:

    T.I.: As a teenager, he was a drug dealer. In March 2004, a warrant was issued for T.I.'s arrest after he violated his probation of a 1997 drug conviction. On October 13, 2007, federal authorities arrested T.I. for possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

    Gucci Mane aka Radric Davis: In April 2001, Davis was arrested on cocaine charges and sentenced to 90 days in jail. On May 10, 2005, Davis was attacked by a group of men at a house in Decatur. Davis' and his companions shot at the group, killing at least one. The corpse of one of the attackers, Henry Lee Clark III, was found later behind a nearby middle school. The previous October, in an unrelated matter, Davis had pleaded no contest to a charge of assault for assaulting a nightclub promoter the previous June; at the time the murder charge was dropped, he was serving a six-month prison sentence for this. September 2008, Gucci Mane was arrested for parole violation for completing only 25 out of 600 community service hours following his 2005 arrest for assault. Not to mention the video above of him punching a young lady in the face.

    These two fine gentlemen are ALWAYS featured as great people on her site while Chris Brown is mocked insulted and ridiculed on a daily basis. So I guess her theory is that drug dealing, gun toting, dangerous felons are in no way as bad as Chris Brown's assault on Rihanna. They deserve a pass but he doesn't and if this is ok with Sandra then so be it.

    Here's the thing though, he's surely done it before, and will continue doing it. The sad part about it is that she apparently isn't going anywhere which makes this whole situation some #hood&hoeshyt.
