    I've read studies that say it takes 21 days for a behavior to become a habit. I'm with you there.

    I've also read that it takes about 72 hrs for a meal to go from mouth to colon. Which is another reason I shun dead flesh more and more.I started thinking about a Wed meal, not being fully eliminated until SATURDAY...and me still putting food in my body on Thur, Fri...I tell you..it really gave me cause for pause.
    I used to eat meat at every meal, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Then I realized how long it takes to break down..and I started seeing how I didn't NEED it as much as I CRAVED it. Was an eye opening experience.
    I also do liver flushes & get deep tissue massages. They say that helps to eliminate toxins too. :yes:

    Some do. But when you want to be a family, why wait for a white baby or child when there is an abundance of black and latino children there waiting. And then what happens to the black and latino kids stuck in the system til they age out.

    As a former foster care respite mom.. I didn't get to pick the kids that needed my home. If you foster to adopt you may have a black baby/child that is placed with you, two years later mom has lost full rights and you have been waiting to adopt. You love this child now, you aren't going to adopt him/her?

    What type of sense does that make? Children need permanent homes.

    I started wanting to foster when my friend's mom took in her great niece and nephew at 13 months and 4 days old. Lilboy13mo had no verbal not even cooing and not walking and weak muscle tone from being in a crib 24/7 and undernourished. lilgirl4days was born with crack in her system.

    To date their mama has had 9 kids that we know of, my friend's mom has 3 (the most recent one she adopted is 2.5)

    She started fostering other children too of all races... these kids need people that WANT them.

    WHALE Unless there is some unforeseen circumstance EYE know that I am not adopting anybody kids. I mean mine are perfect :heart: and they blessings. But sometimes if it wasn’t for the fact they daddy might notice they gone and they look like me I be wanting to tell them about themselves. Except the boy :love: he love me more than I love myself. And the oldest ones.. she got a kind heart… :gossip: < everybody starts gossiping don’t she got 3 kids?
    But for real all jokes aside I don’t judge anyone who decides to adopt because I know that is a major thing to do. You have to have the right mindset and heart for it.

    Also...I agree with the adoption issue. If a person wanting to adopt a child, no matter the race, and that child is happy and cared for why be mad :shrug: I have seen some black people adopt kids just to get the check. Kids be miserable ass heck and not cared for. So no matter the race of the child or adopting parents, as long as that child is thriving and be cared for I am all for it

    Hell, my boys never really cared for characters on their clothes. Although I bought my youngest a Spongebob tee, but that's cuz he gotta square azz head like him. :lol:

    Now, this lady going to buy this little boy some obviously little girl shoes, for what reason...This is why I have a problem with certain folks adopting children. Idc what anyone says for most of the "celebs" adopting kids other than their own, there is an ulterior motive behind it and it's not sincere. What mother in their right mind wants their son to wear girl shoes at that age. Even if I thought my son might be gay that early I wouldn't. Heck, I suspected (and still do) my nephew at the age 2 (12 now) when he wanted to carry purses like his sisters, but did I allow it, no because he's a boy...I don't care what he chooses when he becomes an adult, but he knows he's a man still. I mean is she trying to feminize him so that he doesn't become a "scary black man" as he gets older...smdh
