Chris and Adrienne Bosh

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh may be sidelined for the rest of the 2015-16 NBA season with blood clots again.

According to published reports, Bosh, 31, pulled out of the 2016 NBA All-Star game in Toronto after suffering a slight calf sprain.

Calf pain is a classic symptom of deep vein thrombosis, a life-threatening condition which can cause blood clots that break off and travel to the lung.

Bosh hung around the All-Star events in Toronto this past weekend before returning to Miami for diagnostic tests.

"The biggest thing is his health," Heat teammate Dwyane Wade told the Associated Press on Saturday in Toronto. "All in all, as I said last year, it's bigger than basketball. It's about his family and he has to make sure he does everything right. I want to make sure that he's doing whatever he needs to do to be healthy and get back on the basketball court whenever he's ready."

The 6' 11" center was previously hospitalized in February 2015 with pulmonary emboli (blood clots) in his lungs. Ironically, he was diagnosed with PE following the 2015 NBA All-Star game in New York last February.

Bosh and his wife Adrienne, 30, are expecting twins sons. They have 2 children; a girl named Dylan Skye, 2, and a boy named Jackson Bosh, 3. Chris Bosh also has a daughter named Trinity, 7, from a previous relationship.

I literally see money in her eyes. She's looking at him like "THIS is what a real-life dollar sign looks like."

Adrienne is the real definition of a real bad bish. She got her June Cleaver image down. Seriously. She's working the wife and mom role. This is a true basketball wife.

  • the guest

    Yeessss...and a true transformer.

He should retire. Some of these athletes just want to push it. He doesn't have to. He has disability and/or retirement insurance. He should just go play golf.

  • TheRealLee

I agree. He will have to be on Coumadin or similar for the rest of his life.

  • Miany

I am sorry for your loss. Yes, it is serious stuff.

  • guest

KARMA..... I hope he never plays again. And look at his fake, lying, thieving wife who stole $10K from lil Wayne gazing up to him. SMDH I see and understand why the BOSHs and WADEs are besties! 2 FAKE ASS COUPLES.

  • guest

LOL...YES, she did it the right way. married first and babies second.

  • the guest

    Exactly. Cleaned up nice.

Can he maintain his family's lifestyle indefinitely if he retires? No hate, but his wife is materialistic and I want this marriage to make it a lifetime for the children. If he can maintain their lifestyle on retirement then he should retire.

I cant figure out if she just loves money or if fame from playing ball is important too?

  • Li

I don't know about his marriage; do you? Is that the wife in the pic? SHE should put HIS health above her greed. Anyway, Bosh is making commercials about a RX drug, I think he's a spokesperson. He probably has a cushy retirement annuity. He'll be OK. Forget about the wife, maybe he should divorce her. Hope he has a pre-nup. (Boy these ballers are dumb when it comes to marriage).

  • iyonah

Awww man. Hope its not as serious as before and that he heals asap.
