Tyga ‘devastated’ by tragic death of his bodyguard

Rapper Tyga is mourning the tragic death of his bodyguard, Arlester “Punch” Henderson, who was killed in a traffic accident on Wednesday.

Henderson was driving on the Santa Monica Freeway just before 6 a.m. when he collided with another vehicle. After he got out to check on the other driver, he was struck by an oncoming Mercedes Benz C230, according to a police report obtained by Page Six.

The 29-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A rep told gossip tabloid TMZ the rapper is “devastated, shocked and heartbroken" by the untimely death of his friend.

“RIP Punch,” Tyga wrote in a tribute to Henderson on Instagram.com. “I know you looking down from a better place.”

    Chileeeee.....one of my college buddies AND her son were both killed instantly when they were trying to fix a flat on the shoulder of the freeway. Mother & son dead...just like that.?

    We can use some levity on this thread. There are people who are sincerely wishing this young man's soul be at peace. Then, there's a devil making a mockery of his most early demise.

    One thing we don't do enough in acknowledging death is celebrating life. It is beautiful to see new life and young life. We just pray that the babies live long, healthy, happy lives. ??

    It is so. People like to play at the wrong time. God's children are not to be played with. It isn't a game or a joke when a person dies tragically. Anyone who finds humor in that is sick. We pray for them, but they will have to deal with the consequences of their actions. ??

    :( Most folks don't know that they can call DOT (signs are posted) and they will come and change it. Hell I've seen them bring folks gas that were stranded. They will pull up in that bright azz truck with the huge arrow on the back

    Just last year (Anne Arundel County) a dad was on his way to the mall & died the same way, trying to change a flat...Sadly his kids saw it & his fiancee was hit too (she survived)...the dispatcher talked to the daughter something terrible (yelling at her to calm down or he wasn't going to help etc.)...I believe he was fired & an elderly man did damn the hitting--WAS SUCH A SAD STORY :(

    Very sad my step dad just passed away from a terrible car accident on the 17th of March, so I can relate.. gone too soon! Makes you really value and cherish every breath your given on this earth. Dont take anyone for granted because we are not promised tomorrow, tell people you care about you love them often! Might be the last time you see them in this life :(

    Many times folks aren't paying attention when driving anymore. Their texting, reading/sending emails, participating in conference calls, putting on makeup, pluckin eyebrows, shaving, combing hair, talking on the phone, reading directions, etc......not paying attention, then they ram folks in the rear or hit someone walking across the street; seriously injuring or killing them.

    This is the 2nd death of a black driver that got hit because he got out his car on a high-way hmmm.. Take notes people. If you in an accident, pull your car over to the side or shoulder of the lane. And stay off the road. Oncoming traffic don't always stop when hey see a wreck.
