    I first paid attention to him because he was part of a roundtable discussion on BET. I loved his perspective on a myriad of topics, most of which were pertaining to US.

    Then I started listening to his music. I really didn't start liking his solo work until "The Greatest Story Ever Told." I am and have always been more into his production work. His isht for The Carter III is classic. I love "Rubberband Man," "Ladies Love Me" by Chris Brown and Justin Bieber... He is such a dope producer. "Sex, Drugs & Videogames" was literally life when it dropped. I still keep it in rotation. I also love his album with 9th Wonder. I'm not such a fan of him as a rapper but he killed "S, D & V" lyrically. I begged him for a sequel. No dice.
