    Oh, no. Lol. I would contact your primary care physician and ask them if the BMI charts should be different for us vs. others.

    I'm not sure what you eat or how often you eat, but maybe you will consider eating 5 smaller meals per day and drinking juice or water with those meals so you're not hungry or malnourished. We eat, but sometimes we don't eat enough or well enough to keep ourselves satiated and keep our energy levels where they should be. Too many people are also vitamin deficient, which can be problematic.

    Chile been the and done that. According to yt folk at my height i should be about 138lbs. Chile i aint never been that small in all my life. However, I do suffer from vitamin deficiency and am working on that. I'm not really obese but u know how hard we can be on ourselves. Thanks for the input though.

    That's not bad. I would think you could be around 150 lbs. and still be fine, just based on my mom's height and what her doctors stated about her weight.

    She is 5'3 1/2" with about 20 lbs worth of boobs (not really 20 lbs but they're huge). She is around 140. She was 120 a couple years ago but that was too frail for her. She was 105 after she had me. I cannot imagine!

    I don't know about a BMI chart. black folks come in all sizes though so I don't think there's a need to differentiate. I've always been underweight, and happen to have a really high metabolism.

    if you feel healthy, you're not lethargic, and don't sound like biggie smalls when you breathe, id say that's a good indicator that you're pretty good and not to worry about the chart.

    if you're trying to lose weight, however, don't diet. just change the way you eat. stay away from the obvious: processed food and refined carbs/sugar. and if you can afford it, eat organic meat if you do eat any kind of meat. for fish, always buy wild caught DO NOT DO FARMED FISH. there are so many parasites and worms in those fish because they're swimming around in waste half the time.

    don't cook with fatty oils or butter. use olive oil or if you need to fry something, sunflower oil or almond oil are great subs for vegetable oil. i also use coconut butter in place of butter. pay attn to labels. a lot of our food has sugar in it unnecessarily. stay away from condiments such as ketchup with high fructose corn syrup. (i buy organic ketchup to cut down on sugar intake).

    also you might want to invest in organic bone broth. it does wonders for energy and the immune system!

    also ofc regular exercise helps a lot. i don't like to run anymore but i do like doing fun activities like parkour and flying trapeze once a week. i also do a thirty minute mini workout like planking to keep my abs defined and squats! also walking helps a ton. i have a dog and he goes out often. (i also lmao i started playing pokémon go and that requires a lot of walking too).
