Former first daughter Malia Obama showed up to work on Tuesday wearing a Moschino denim jacket and jeggings which she accessorized with her favorite Aztec print backpack.
I would be remiss in my duty as a blogger if I didn't mention the gossip about Malia's father, former President Barack Obama.
By now you know about Obama's former National Security Advisor Susan Rice ordering the Intelligence community to spy on then-candidate Donald Trump.
Rice was exposed as the top official who "unmasked" General Mike Flynn who was captured on wiretaps talking to the Russian ambassador. Nothing that Flynn said in those conversations was illegal. But he was later fired by President Trump for lying to Vice President Mike Pence.
The real gossip is the whereabouts of former President Barack Obama during all of the drama in Washington. We know he's in Tahiti, but why is he in Tahiti after saying he and his wife Michelle Obama were staying in Washington while their youngest daughter, Sasha Obama, finished school?
Did Sasha graduate already?
Why isn't the media reporting that Obama lied about staying in Washington to be near his youngest daughter?
Remember when Obama's former attorney general Eric Holder told the world that Obama was "ready to roll" and get back into politics? At the time, Holder said enthusiastically, “It’s coming. He’s coming. And he’s ready to roll."
A few weeks later, Obama left the country. But why did Obama flee to Tahiti after the "ready to roll" comment just weeks earlier?
Some suggest that Obama is in Tahiti to write his memoir. But he could've written his book in his favorite vacation spot, Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts or in his native Hawaii.
Why Tahiti?
The simple answer is Obama knew that the wiretapping scandal was about to explode. Tahiti doesn't have an extradition treaty with the United States. So Obama can't be forced to return to the U.S. to face prosecution if he's charged with treason or espionage.
Let's imagine that Rice or someone else was arrested for illegally unmasking an American citizen during the course of an intelligence investigation.
Obama, who is all the way in Tahiti, can't be touched.
