Jay-Z is very insecure when it comes to his hair and his public image. The 56-year-old rapper responded to BET host Druski’s comedy skit by issuing cease & desist notices.

The Internet comedian mocked Jay-Z’s Roots Picnic performance while rocking an afro lacefront wig.

The skit went viral on Sunday, and thousands of copies of the video spread across X.com, TikTok and Instagram. Jay-Z’s team allegedly issued thousands of takedown notices to social media platforms.

Copyright notices were also sent to BET, ViacomCBS, and Paramount Pictures. It seems Jay-Z’s image (and his afro) are copyrighted.

According to Black Media on X.com: “Multiple viral clips of Druski impersonating Jay-Z at the BET Awards have been taken down from X following copyright claims. This isn’t the first time the 56-year-old rapper, who is older than X’s owner Elon Musk, has had videos and photos of himself removed from the platform.”
