Rapper Mystikal’s son Million Tyler is speaking out after his father was shipped off to prison to serve 20 years for raping a woman in his Louisiana home in 2022.
TMZ spoke with Million just a few days after his father was sentenced to serve hard time in prison. Million said it’s been an emotional time for him and his family.
“I feel bad for the victim and for my father. Nobody wins from these situations. It’s hard for both parties, if we’re being honest,” he said. The aspiring rapper goes by the stage name BagBaby Milli.
Million said his message to his father was brief. “I hope you get the help you need. I really hope you do.”
Mystikal's son says he's hoping for the best for his father, though he's not ready to visit him in prison yet.

Mystikal, real name Michael Lawrence Tyler, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty last month.
The 55-year-old rapper was charged with three separate rape counts between 2003 and 2022. He was convicted of sexual battery on the infirmed back in 2003 and released from prison in 2010 after serving 7 years. Following his release in 2010, he registered as a sex offender.
In 2017 the Grammy-nominated rapper was indicted on rape and kidnapping charges in a separate case. He spent 18 months in jail and was eventually released on a $3 million bond, according to The Associated Press. The 2017 charges were later dropped for lack of evidence. Mystikal was arrested on a separate rape charge in 2022.
The victim in the 2022 rape case told investigators Mystikal and two of his bodyguards forced her to perform oral sex on them after he accused her of stealing $80,000 in checks. Police found a videotape recording of the assault in his home.
During her testimony in court, the victim said Mystikal choked her, punched her and forcibly raped her. The rapper stood up in the courtroom and said, “If I did that to you, I deserve the max sentence.”
He accepted a plea deal from prosecutors, but the judge hit him with the maximum sentence – 20 years.
