NBA legend Carmelo Anthony is off the market and dating Racquel Smith, the widow of former NFL defensive end Will Smith. The former NBA star-turned-NBC broadcaster and Raquel are Instagram official.
Racquel shared photos and videos of her and ‘Melo on vacation in Saint-Tropez, France on Sunday. “We not here long enough to be living unhappy,” she wrote in one slide on Instagram. “None of us sit high enough to look down on anybody. Be humble,” another slide read.
Raquel also shared video of her and the former NY Knicks star getting on an elevator at a hotel. Raquel’s followers congratulated her on making a big catch.
One follower wrote: “Sis I’m so HAPPY 4 U!! Love seeing you glowing and living your best life. You deserve it!!” Another person wrote: “Happiness Look Beautiful On You!!!”
A third person commented: “You deserve all the happiness in the world my friend, love u.”
Others commented on Raquel’s modest attire, including a black pleather crop top and a polka dot maxi skirt with a side split. Her outfit was modest but still sexy.

Carmelo, 42, was previously married to La La Anthony, 44. They share a son, 19-year-old Kiyan, who plays basketball for Syracuse.
They married in 2010, but split in April 2017 after she caught him cheating on her. They reunited but were on-and-off for several years. La La eventually filed for divorce in June 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.
Racquel’s late husband Will Smith was fatally shot on April 9, 2016 during a road rage incident after a Hummer crashed into the back of his Mercedes-Benz G Wagon. The incident started when Smith’s G Wagon accidentally rear-ended the Hummer. Smith then left the scene of the crash.
The other driver, 28-year-old Cardell Hayes, followed Smith and intentionally rammed the back of the G Wagon with his Hummer. Racquel and two passengers were in the G Wagon at the time.
Racquel was struck by a bullet when Hayes opened fire on Smith. Hayes was arrested at the scene. He was later convicted of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter. He was sentenced in 2017 to 25 years for manslaughter and 15 years for attempted manslaughter.
