Prince Harry considers asking his father for financial help amid money struggles

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are under serious financial strain, and he is considering asking his father, King Charles, for money to pay their household bills and staff salaries.

According to reports, donations have fallen off for his charities and it is affecting his lifestyle with his wife Meghan and their two kids.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will return to the UK in July with their kids, according to the BBC. In 2020 the couple stepped down from their royal duties and moved first to Canada, then to the U.S. seeking fame and fortune.

Celebrities and media companies welcomed Harry and Meghan with open arms in California They quickly signed lucrative contracts with Netflix and Spotify. Their Netflix deal was worth a reported $100 million. Other media deals soon followed.

In 2021 they sat for an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey, which was viewed by millions of people. But after their five-year deal with Netflix ended, the streaming giant decided not to renew their contract.

Variety reported that Netflix is over Harry and Meghan. “The mood in the building is ‘We’re done’,” an insider told Variety.

British writers claim Harry and Meghan are drowning in financial debt due to house maintenance, staff salaries, and other expenses. Harry and Meghan would need to make at least $3 million annually to maintain their lifestyle, according to royal author, Tom Bower.

Prince Harry has reopened communications with his father, King Charles. “He has been honest about the financial strain that comes with maintaining their charitable projects, funding a large security operation, supporting their business ventures, and sustaining the lifestyle they have built in California,” a source told OK! Magazine. “The reality is that the costs are enormous and there is a growing feeling on Harry’s side that the pressure has become relentless.”
