Following the shocking arrest of Big Tigger’s wife Alicia Brown in Atlanta, her ex confirmed that their daughter, Ailea Brown, is alive and well.
Alicia Brown was taken into custody on Monday on an outstanding kidnapping warrant out of Maryland. The Hart County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ that deputies made a felony traffic stop on Alicia’s car on Interstate 85, and two young children were inside the vehicle.
Alicia faces charges of felony interference with child custody, and officials say she will be extradited to Maryland.
The warrant stems from the 2019 disappearance of Alicia’s then 10-year-old daughter, Ailea Brown.
Alicia’s arrest comes after her husband, former V-103 morning show host Big Tigger (Darian Morgan), was charged with aggravated battery and child cruelty on June 20. There are rumors that Big Tigger gave officials the info they needed to arrest his estranged wife.
In a telephone interview during Nina Brown and Joe Clair’s Afternoon Show on WHUR 96.3 FM on Tuesday, Ailea’s father, Durrell Williams, confirmed that his daughter is alive and well.
Durrell said he got the call from a detective after Alicia was taken into custody on Monday. He said Ailea was not one of the children in the car with Alicia.
Durrell claims detectives still haven’t located Ailea, who is now 17, and likely living in the Atlanta area. He said police are still searching for the teenager.
When asked if he’s confident that Ailea is Ok, he said, “No, she’s alive. She’s definitely alive. I can confirm that… I’ve always known pretty much what was going on.”
Durrell said he hates that Alicia is in custody because “that’s still her mom and all of this was for nothing. All of this was for absolutely nothing.”
Ailea is not the child who recorded video of an altercation between Big Tigger and Alicia in a struggle over his cell phone. The distressed child heard in the recording was Alicia’s son, Alex.
The mother-of-4 and Big Tigger share a son who was born in 2025.
