Chadwick Boseman’s brothers, Kevin and Derrick Boseman, filed a court petition to remove his widow as administrator of his estate. Chadwick died on August 28, 2020 after a battle with colon cancer.
Kevin and Derrick say Chadwick’s widow, Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman, has mismanaged the estate and they want her removed as soon as possible.
In court documents, obtained by TMZ, Kevin and Derrick claim Taylor keeps the family out of the loop about the financial status of his estate.
A 2022 court order said their parents, Leroy and Carolyn Chadwick, are legally entitled to a combined 50% share of the estate. The court order gave Taylor control of the other half after Chadwick died without a will in place.

Kevin and Derrick claim that nearly 4 years later, Taylor still hasn’t finished distributing the estate’s assets and she continues to control the estate on her own.
Chadwick’s estate includes money from movie residuals and royalties, his image and intellectual property rights, investments, insurance policies, bank accounts, and personal belongings.
But his brothers claim his family has no clue about their parents’ half of the estate because Taylor hasn’t provided an accounting of his assets.
Kevin and Derrick say Taylor has not transferred a long-term care insurance policy to their mother, or closed and distributed money from Chadwick’s bank accounts, including more than $3 million in various bank accounts.
Those accounts include SAG-AFTRA residual payments Chadwick earned after his death.
