Gayle King anchored Monday’s “CBS Mornings” episode with zero sleep after attending Jay-Z’s final concert at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, July 12.

She was among the unlucky VIPs stuck outside the stadium when fans without tickets bum-rushed the doors.

Gayle was spotted outside Yankee Stadium after security and police locked the gates. She finally made it inside when security opened the doors at 10 pm.

Jay-Z didn’t hit the stage until well after midnight.

By 7 a.m., Gayle was live on CBS Mornings. “She had no nap or sleep,” a source told PEOPLE.

Gayle showed video from the concert on Monday’s broadcast. She also shared photos from Jay-Z’s show on her Instagram page.

Gayle commented on Jay-Z’s concert starting after midnight. She asked fans to focus on “what a testament it is” that people stayed to see Jay-Z even though the concert was delayed until after midnight.

“By now you’ve probably heard about the delays at @jayz’s final show at Yankee Stadium. But what I think we should focus on is what a testament it is to him that a concert scheduled to start at 9 p.m. didn’t begin until after midnight—and most people were still there. The delay was caused by the actions of a few, and Jay wanted everyone to be safe. Who can argue with that? It was absolutely worth the wait once he hit the stage, His genius was on full display, and the crowd was with him every step of the way.”
