Marietta, Georgia police arrested Jerahn Tucker for attempting to kidnap 2 young children at a Shell Gas station in the 2600 block of Delk Road.
Marietta police officer Chuck McPhilamy said Chastity Woodward stopped at the Shell station to pump gas around midnight on July 23.
Surveillance video shows Woodward pumping gas when a shirtless and shoeless man opened the rear driver-side door of her car and tried to grab her minor daughter.
Woodward’s son jumped out of the rear passenger-side door and ran toward his mom. Tucker tried again to grab the girl from the back seat while repeatedly telling told Woodward he had a gun.
Surveillance footage shows Woodward pointing the gas pump hose at Tucker who then ran around the vehicle to grab the boy. Two bystanders coming out of the convenience store dropped their bags and rushed over to assist the family.

Police arrived just as Tucker got back into his 2012 Cadillac to leave. Cops arrested him at the scene. Tucker faces multiple charges, including kidnapping and simple assault fear.
Police said store workers recognized Tucker as a frequent customer. He is currently being held in the Cobb County Jail while awaiting a bond hearing.
