There’s a rumor going around that at least one of Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium concerts might be cancelled due to low ticket sales.

It seems bots and resellers bought most of the tickets to Jay-Z’s three sold out concerts for the 25th Anniversary of his Blueprint album and the 30th anniversary of his debut classic album, Reasonable Doubt.

The New York Post reports that ticket prices are “dropping fast” as the three concerts are scheduled to take place on July 10-12.

Tickets sold out immediately when the shows were announced months ago. But the tickets were purchased by bots and resellers. Now they’re trying to unload the tickets at any price so the stadium won’t be half-empty.

The Post said ticket prices are all approximately $100 to $200 cheaper now than when tickets first went on sale.

Back then, the cheapest ticket we could find for any one of this trifecta of Yankee Stadium gigs was $310 including fees on SeatGeek. Now, just a little over two months later, prices start at $183 including fees (that’s for the July 10 “Reasonable Doubt” retrospective). For those without a calculator on hand, that’s a cool $127 in savings.

Despite spending over $1 million on promotion and wrapping a NYC subway train with his album cover, the Reasonable Doubt anniversary album barely sold 30,000 copies.
