LeBron James is apparently not a fan of Philadelphia cheesesteak. The 41-year-old 4-time NBA champion recently signed a 2-year, $8 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers after the Lakers declined to make him an offer to stay in Los Angeles.
It seems that Philadelphia wasn’t on LeBron’s list of preferred teams.
According to reports, LeBron accepted the league minimum to play in Philly because that’s the only team that would sign him.

LeBron apparently despises Philadelphia. He won’t even look at homes in Philadelphia for himself, his wife Savannah, and their 11-year-old daughter, Zhuri.
According to multiple reports, LeBron is considering living in New York City and commuting daily by helicopter while playing for the Sixers.
Local realtor Reid Rosenthal of The Rosenthal Group at Berkshire Hathaway Fox and Roach said there are a plethora of luxury condos on the market. “Philadelphia has some beautiful condos, some beautiful townhomes,” said Rosenthal. “We have a penthouse — it’s one of those spectacular penthouses… we have plenty of luxury in Philadelphia.”
Sixers fans aren’t too pleased that the aging NBA star dissed their city.
“I think NYC is a great spot to be in… socially and atmosphere wise… But I think if you’re gonna play for Philly… you gotta live in Philly,” said Billy Greco of South Philadelphia.
Sixers fan Shawn Coleman said he would volunteer to drive LeBron. “He can stay [in NYC] on the off season… And Philly in the on season… you need a driver? I’m the person for you! LeBron – I’ll bring you to Philly every day.”
Another fan wrote on social media: “It’s a little weird he’s living in NY, but he’s LeBron so he can do whatever in my eyes… as long as he wins I’m fine with it.”
A fourth person commented, “He could live on the moon if we get a championship.”
