Comedienne Luenell called out a Dallas radio station morning show for not promoting her in-studio interview.
The incident happened during her appearance on K104 FM’s “DeDe In the Morning” show on Friday, July 10.
Luenell gave the hosts a piece of her mind for not mentioning that she was on her way to the station that morning. She was upset that all they talked about was rapper T.I.
“And nobody mentioned me and I’m on my way here at 6 o’clock in the morning. T.I. is not down there. I’m on my way here. Y’all didn’t even mention me,” she said.
“You think I wasn’t listening before I got here?”
“Why wouldn’t you have said that I’m here? I’m on my way here. It’s 6 o’clock in the morning – 3 o’clock in my body from the West Coast. I’m the one who came and was sitting in traffic,” Luenell continued. “You think I wasn’t listening before I got here?”
Luenell made it clear that she wouldn’t talk about her May-December relationship with former R&B crooner Al B. Sure!. She said she’d rather promote her comedy shows in Texas over the weekend.
At one point, Luenell threatened that she had family in the Dallas area, and they can be at the station in 5 minutes.

The video’s comments were mostly supportive of Luenell. Many commenters remarked on the lack of professionalism displayed by the young radio hosts.
One person tweeted: “She got a point though. Clearly we can see they tried to make a lie up in front of her face like she ain’t catch it but she kept it professional.”
Another person wrote: “She not wrong!! it woulda took 5 extra seconds to say she was [on the way]. why wouldn’t they mention her?”
A third person wrote: “Everyone is so unprofessional now a days. Like just do your due diligence and people will not have to get you together like this.”
