Klay Thompson is living his best life with a new girlfriend after breaking up with “WAP” rapper Megan Thee Stallion earlier this year.
The Dallas Mavericks star shared vacation photos on Instagram that show him and an unidentified woman on vacation together.
The NBA star broke up with the rapper after less than a year of dating. Megan, 31, accused him of cheating on her. But Klay told friends that he broke up with Megan because she’s “ghetto”.
“He was over her and didn’t want to be with her,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “I think he wanted to break up with her for a while but just didn’t know what to do.”
The insider added, “He was like, ‘She was just so ghetto. I was over the ghettoness… The way she speaks, the way she acts.'”
The source claimed Klay, 36, thought Megan talked back too much. He complained that Megan never got over her obsession with incarcerated rapper Tory Lanez. “She would not shut the f**k up about [Tory],” he allegedly said.
Tory, 34, is serving 10 years in prison for shooting and wounding Megan during a disagreement in 2020. His sentence was upheld in 2025.
