Nolan Wells’ mother, Christine Wonsley is being targeted by one-star reviews left on her page at the clinic where she works as a family medicine nurse practitioner.
A Threads user posted a screenshot of the negative reviews a week after Wonsley buried her 18-year-old son, Nolan Wells, who died under suspicious circumstances on July 4.
One review stated, “Would not recommend her.”
Another reviewer wrote, “I wouldn’t trust her to care for anyone. I don’t hate anyone that much to recommend her.”
A third person wrote, “Unfortunately I’m looking for another medical provider.”
Nolan was laid to rest at an emotional funeral on July 20 in Mississippi. That same day, a law firm representing Christine and Elmore Wonsley sent letters to Nolan’s friends announcing their intention to sue them.
“You are hereby placed on notice that litigation concerning the death of Nolan Wells is reasonably anticipated,” the letter from Carroll Bufkin, PLLC, a Mississippi-based law firm associated with Ben Crump, read.
Nolan traveled to Horn Island with his friends to celebrate Independence Day and the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The boat that the boys were on began to take on water. They called to Nolan to return to the mainland with them, but he reportedly chose to stay behind on the island.
Nolan’s body was found face down in shallow water near the Horn Island coastline on July 6.
An independent autopsy conducted in Washington, D.C. was inconclusive because his major organs (brain, lungs, and neck structures) were missing.
