“I’ve heard little tidbits, but I can’t do a legal analysis because I don’t know enough about it, to be honest,” said the entertainment attorney.

Phaedra said she’s known Tigger “for well over 20 years,” and she’s never known him to be anything but a gentleman.

She added, “He’s a gentleman. He has really built his career, and so it’s unfortunate that this event is putting a stain on his reputation.”

“He’s definitely a legend, you know? We all grew up on Big Tigger in the basement, Rap City,” Phaedra continued. “So, it’s very sad that one little misstep – that we can’t even prove was truly a misstep – can take away all the good that he’s done for the hip-hop community. All the strides he’s made for Black people in radio and just being a real standup guy.”

Phaedra reached out to Big Tigger with a word of encouragement. “Just to say I’m sorry you’re going through this and I’m praying for you.”

Alicia Brown was arrested on kidnapping warrants during a traffic stop on I-85 near the Georgia/South Carolina border. Two children were inside the vehicle – one of them was Alicia’s son with Tigger.

The other child is believed to Alicia’s son, Alex, who recorded the video below that shows an altercation between his mother and Big Tigger.
