Sean Combs’ release date was moved up again – despite a recent prison fight that landed him in solitary confinement.

Combs’ release date was changed from February 23, 2028 to January 24, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website.

The 56-year-old record producer and rapper is serving a three-year sentence at Fort Dix FCI in New Jersey following a July 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.

Multiple sources tell TMZ Combs “held his own” in a fistfight after an inmate “dissed him” last week.

Combs and the other inmate pushed each other and started throwing hands, TMZ reported.

Correctional officers broke up the fight and threw the disgraced music executive into solitary confinement.

Reports speculated that Combs might end up serving more time after the alleged fight.

An FCI Fort Dix rep told TMZ, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody. Such information would not be available for the public domain.”

The Federal Bureau of Prisons would not comment on “disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety and security concerns.”
