The New York Knicks is among the teams that declined to make an offer for the NBA’s all-time leading scorer LeBron James.
LeBron, 41, became a free agent when the Lakers declined to make him an offer to stay in Los Angeles.
According to a report, LeBron’s management approached the Knicks about the team making an offer for his services. But the reigning NBA champions turned them down, saying, “Nah, we’re good. We’re passing on this one.”
“The Knicks got a good thing going on in the locker room. This would be the worst move they can make to that team. Respect to the Knicks for not even flinching and moving on from taking him,” said PBD Podcast host Patrick Bet-David.

LeBron wanted to team up with his friend Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors, however, the Warriors refused to sign LeBron’s former teammate Anthony Davis.
LeBron’s next preference was to join newly-acquired superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo on the Miami Heat. Someone on the Heat staff even leaked a LeBron James introductory press conference on the team’s YouTube channel.
An insider claims LeBron “changed his mind” about announcing his decision to join the Miami Heat. But sources say the Heat’s owner didn’t want to deal with him.
LeBron ultimately signed a 2-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers for a league minimum $8 million. However, LeBron says he will live in New York and commute daily to Philadelphia by helicopter.
