Trump Accounts officially launched today, July 4, 2026. Trump Accounts are tax-deferred investment savings accounts for eligible newborns to invest in their future. The U.S. Treasury will deposit a $1,000 federal contribution into each account to help them start saving for the future.

That $1,000 cannot be touched until the beneficiary turns 18. The money will be invested in the stock market.
