Big Tigger’s estranged wife Alicia Brown sued Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat for showing favoritism to the former radio host.
Brown was arrested in July by the Hart County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop on Interstate 85 a few miles from the Georgia/South Carolina border. Her two minor children were with her in the car.
She was charged on an outstanding kidnapping warrant related to her missing teenage daughter in Maryland. Brown was being held in jail without bond.
Investigators in Maryland continue to list her daughter, 17-year-old Ailea Brown, as a missing child.
Now comes word that Brown is suing Labat and his office over a warrant that triggered her arrest on Interstate 85.
Brown had arrest warrants filed in 2 separate jurisdictions: Georgia and Maryland.
Morgan has been on leave from V-103 since his arrest on battery charges on June 20. He was released on $10,000 bond the same day. Morgan and Brown share a son born in 2025.
According to Eurweb, Brown’s lawsuit, filed August 14 without an attorney, alleges the Atlanta arrest warrant accusing her of interference with child custody was erroneous.
She says a judge had granted her custody of her minor children less than two weeks before her July 6 arrest, and the Fulton charge was later dropped.
Brown alleges Labat and his office filed the warrant to help Big Tigger, real name Darian Morgan.
She alleges Morgan received preferential treatment because of his close relationship with Labat. She is seeking communications and records that could prove the link between the two men.
Brown’s complaint alleges the Atlanta warrant was eventually dropped and her arrest on I-85 violated her constitutional rights and caused emotional distress, reputational damage, financial losses and separation from her children. She is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial, according to Eurweb.
