Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark faced backlash for laughing at Angel Reese after she missed a critical layup that would’ve given the Atlanta Dream the win and a 3-1 edge in their season series.

Caitlin’s reaction drew sharp criticism from Reese’s fans.

Reese’s lack of basketball fundamentals hurt her in the final seconds of the game on Sunday, August 16, at State Farm Arena.

Reese, 24, had a chance to lift her team over the Fever in the final seconds, but she missed an easy layup. Her teammate Naz Hillmon missed the easy put back.

The Fever’s 6-ft-2 star center Makayla Timpson tapped the ball away, sending the game into overtime.

Timpson, 23, had a breakout game on Sunday. She scored a career-high 20 points, including six points in overtime, and seven rebounds.

Both teams are now tied 2-2 in their season series.
