Disturbing video footage shows young singer Beyoncé sitting on a balding man’s lap inside a studio. The Daily Mail UK published the undated video over the weekend.
The video clip went viral and Beyoncé‘s fans expressed shock and disappointment in her improper behavior.
The star-struck 18-year-old sat on the man’s lap while talking to pop icon Michael Jackson on a speaker phone.
Michael gave the excited teenager words of encouragement as her career with Destiny’s Child was on the rise.
She wore blue jeans and a white cut-off tank top with the lyrics “Wake Up and Live” from a song of the same name by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Her hair was in her signature blonde braids extensions.
Another teenager sitting at the conference table appears to be Destiny’s Child original member LaTavia Roberson. LaTavia gave Beyoncé a disapproving look.
Most young women were taught to never sit on a man’s lap. But Beyoncé seemed to be accustomed to sitting on older men.

Destiny’s Child would go on to become one of the most influential girl groups in music history. Their early hit songs include “No, No, No”, “Bills, Bills, Bills”, “Say My Name”, “Independent Women”, “Bootylicious”, “Lose My Breath” and “Soldier.”
Beyoncé was already in a relationship with much older rapper Jay-Z at the time of the racy video. They met when she was only 15 and he was 27. They were married in 2008 and share three children.
Fans expressed their disappointment in Beyoncé for not having better discipline.
One fan wrote on X.com: “If a black woman doesn’t want to do something, she will tell you what she ain’t gonna do, with the quickness. So the fact that the ‘diva’ sat on cousin lurch lap, should let all of you know that she loved every minute of it.”
Another person wrote: “Every adult in that room [is] responsible for what is happening here. None of them speak up, they want fame more than they want to protect that child… Vile fake desperate vapid empty soulless vultures.”
