Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced his new business venture, the Money Team Law Firm.
The former champion boxer announced his new law firm in a TV commercial. He said the law firm is comprised of “a network of the best lawyers from around the country.”
“When you need legal help, the right lawyers make all the difference,” he said. “How do you know which lawyers is right for you? That’s why we started the Money Team Law Firm, a network of the best lawyers from around the country. So everyone can get the justice and money they deserve.”

Floyd is not an attorney but he is familiar with the justice system and the inside of a courtroom.
The 49-year-old boxer is facing two felony charges for passing a bad check in Nevada. He is accused of “intent to defraud” by purchasing a $200,000 wristwatch with a bad check in Las Vegas, according to Nevada court records obtained by ESPN.
Additionally, he was ordered to pay $1 million in back child support for a child he fathered with an exotic dancer. Floyd was legally declared father of a 4-year-old girl in March 2026. He has a total of five children by multiple women.
Floyd is also under Uncle Sam’s radar. Earlier this year, the IRS notified Floyd that it intends to revoke his passport for failure to pay a total of $7.25 million in back taxes, liens and levies.
Social media reacted to Floyd’s new legal business venture. One X.com user clarified that Floyd’s “law firm” is actually a marketing company that refers people to lawyers for a fee.
FYI the money team law firm is not actually a law firm. It’s a marketing company that refers you to attorneys.
Just go straight to the attorney and avoid extra fees.
