Love & Hip-Hop: New York personality Sidney Starr was arrested in Hapeville, Georgia and charged with child s^xual assault.
Starr, real name Sidney Favors, 37, is accused of s^xual battery against a minor under 16 and aggravated child molestation, FOX 5 Atlanta reports.
Police responded to a report of an assault at the Embassy Suites in the 3400 block of International Boulevard in Hapeville on Sunday, August 2.

Favors was taken into custody at the hotel and booked into the Fulton County Jail in downtown Atlanta.
Hapeville police confirmed the case has been handed over to Fani Willis in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

Officials declined to release further details about the case.
“Because this case involves a juvenile, no additional information will be released from our agency,” the Hapeville Police Department said in a statement to FOX 5 Atlanta.
Favors is best known as a male-to-female transgender who claimed to date rapper Chingy. Favors later admitted the rumor was a lie. But Chingy’s hip-hop career never recovered.
Favors also previously dated actors Darius McCrary and Bryshere Gray, and music executive Rich Dollaz.
In 2018, Favors appeared on Love & Hip Hop: New York as a supporting cast member who’s chasing a dream to become a rapper. The reality TV series was canceled after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Favors also appeared as a guest on “Baddies ATL” reality TV series.
