
Sidney Starr‘s mom spoke on the reality TV personality’s arrest on felony child assault charges in Georgia.
Love & Hip-Hop: New York supporting cast member Sidney Starr was arrested in Hapeville on Sunday, August 2, and charged with s^xual battery against a child under 16.
Police responded to a report of an assault at the Embassy Suites on the 3400 block of International Boulevard in Hapeville on Sunday.
The reality TV star was taken into custody at the hotel and booked into the Fulton County Jail in downtown Atlanta.
Sidney Starr, real name Sidney Favors, 37, is listed in online records as a “Black male, 5-6, 180 lbs.”

TMZ spoke with Sidney Favors’ mother, Stephanie Favors, who stated that she is “shocked” by the arrest. Stephanie Favors said she can’t believe Sidney would engage in that sort of activity with a minor.
She said Sidney was in Georgia for a show at the time of the arrest and that the accusation is completely out of character.
Stephanie has not spoken with Sidney since news of the arrest.
Hapeville police confirmed the case has been handed over to Fani Willis in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
