An Idaho man who urged Facebook users to learn how to shoot is being hailed a hero for saving lives at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, on August 1.
Police confirmed 3 people are dead (including the gunman), and 7 others were wounded when the man opened fire at the fast food restaurant and other businesses on Saturday afternoon.

Jordan Salinas, a.k.a. “The Fearless Patriot,” leaped into action during the “active shooter” situation at In-N-Out Burger. Video shows Salinas wearing a cowboy hat and firing his suppressed weapon in the direction of the shooter.
In a Facebook post in 2024, Salinas shared a video and urged Facebook users to “train like your life depends on it because God forbid, one day it might.”

Police found the suspect shot dead near the restaurant. The suspect apparently took his own life after being confronted by Salinas.
Officials said the gunman fatally shot three people and wounded seven others. An In-N-Out Burger employee and two customers were killed.
“We lost one of our beautiful Associates tonight,” In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder said in a statement posted to Facebook. “She was taking care of our most important asset — our Customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own.”
The gunman also opened fire on a man and woman trapped in a Tesla at a charging station in the parking lot near the restaurant. They are both listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
