White House aide Jayme Leagh Franklin denies rumors that she uses a button in her belly to zap President Donald Trump when he nods off during meetings.
Franklin, founder and CEO of The Conservateur, went viral on August 10 when someone posted a video on X.com that shows her standing next to a dozing Trump in the Oval Office.
An X user claimed Franklin had a button in her belly that she pressed to zap Trump awake. The video showed Franklin standing next to the sleeping president.
She moved her hand over her belly just seconds before Trump awakened from his midday nap.
Franklin wasted no time disputing the bizarre rumor in a comment on X.com on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Another viral rumor claimed Franklin was an advanced “AI robot” or a “cyborg” because of her flat facial affect and repeated nodding.
