Emmy Award-winning daytime TV host Tamron Hall returns for the 8th season of her nationally syndicated daytime talk show on Monday, Sept. 14.

The Tamron Hall show is the second-longest-running syndicated talk show produced by Disney Entertainment. The theme for season 8 is “Let’s Keep Talking.”

Th new season will feature current topics, musical moments and showcase a variety of special programming, including the show’s fan-favorites, Up-&-Coming Designers, Fact or Fiction, Tasting Table, Little Dreamers, Big Dreams and more.

“Eight seasons in, I’m more curious than ever. Like so many in our Tam Fam, I’m still growing, still asking questions and still figuring out what’s next. This season, we’re going to explore it all together and keep the conversation going,’ said Hall.

In a sit-down interview with USA TODAY, Hall discussed her late pregnancy at age 48 in 2018. She said she was in the makeup room preparing to shoot the pilot for her talk show, when she received a call from her doctor that she was pregnant.

“I’m like, ‘Well, that’s two babies at once,'” Hall, now 55, tells USA TODAY. “You don’t know what’s possible. And I believe what our show does so well is, show you.”

Hall said she always wanted to be a journalist and a mother. Now she calls both journeys her “gifts.”

Hall’s husband, music executive Steven Greener, is a New Yorker as is their seven-year-old son Moses. The family spent the summer between Texas and Long Island.

During the interview, Hall pulls out her phone and plays a video of Moses excitedly yelling, ‘We’re going to Season 8!’ Hall says her son spent the summer going to sports camps and swimming, and that she enjoyed the chance to bond with him.

The stylish mom-of-one ignores friendly advice about her personal style. Especially when it comes to her hemlines.

“When I turned 40, someone said to me, ‘Women over 40 shouldn’t wear mini skirts’,” Hall tells InStyle. From that day on, “I was dedicated to wearing a mini skirt on pretty much every other episode,” she said. Hall explained that she rejects the idea that woman must be more “serious and intense” as they age. “While I recognize the wisdom [that comes from] the journey, I also recognize the fun every day along the way,” she added.

Hall described how she chooses her on-air wardrobe.

“I don’t have a uniform … but I do have a regimen,” she says. “Every week we pick out everything, from the undergarments to the jewelry. We look at the schedule to decide how that outfit will read with that topic that day. Every single thing – from the earrings to the shoes – is telling a story that is cohesive with that episode. So it’s very intentional and it’s done a complete week in advance. And I use that same formula for my personal life. Today, I had everything laid out the night before, because I don’t want to leave anything to chance. I think that’s because I went to a Catholic school with uniforms.”
