Jesse Williams welcomed his third baby, his first with new wife Alejandra Onieva.
Jesse set up a camera inside his refrigerator to announce the baby news. The video footage shows him reaching into the fridge for baby bottles as his wife and other people speak Spanish in the background.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star said: “English! English, alright? I want my son to speak English. Bad enough his name is Hector.” The line is from Spike Lee’s movie “Do the Right Thing.”
Jesse and Alejandra have not confirmed the baby’s sex or name.
Alejandra re-posted the video on her Instagram Story. She also shared a video of the baby’s feet with the caption “vida,” Spanish for life or living.
Jesse, 45, and Alejandra, 34, secretly eloped earlier this year. They met in 2025 while filming the Amazon Prime series “Hotel Costiera” in Italy. Jesse plays a former Marine in the show, while Alejandra stars opposite him.
Alejandra is a native of Madrid, Spain. By early fall 2025, the couple took their relationship public, first in Madrid, then appearing at a Rome premiere where they were seen holding hands.
Jesse and his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee, 44, finalized their divorce in 2017 after a bitter three-year battle.
They share joint legal and physical custody of their two kids, Maceo, 11, and Sadie, 12.
As part of the divorce settlement, Jesse agreed to pay child support and spousal support of $100,000 a month. Jesse and Aryn were married for five years.
After his divorce, Jesse briefly dated sports journalist Taylor Rooks and actress Taylour Paige.
