Update: Singer Keke Wyatt allegedly threatened to shoot a woman during a child custody exchange.

In an affidavit, obtained by TMZ, Keke was arrested on Sunday, September 20. A witness told police they saw a fight break out between Keke and the woman. Keke allegedly produced a 9mm handgun and pointed it out a car window.

The witness told police they heard Keke say, “Let that b*tch come over here, so I can blow her brains out!”

The incident of violence went down in front of a minor child. Police say Keke admitted to having a gun in her car, but she denied pointing the gun at the woman.

The R&B singer, 46, was booked into the Henry County jail and released 2 days later after posting $1,050 bond.

According to TMZ, the mom-of-11 was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and cruelty to children.

In a statement through her rep on Friday, Sept. 25, Keke was adamant that she was not charged with cruelty to children.

“Keke Wyatt WAS NOT charged with Cruelty to Children, Terroristic Threats and Acts, or Aggravated Assault as has been reported by certain media outlets,” the statement read.

“We are particularly concerned by the circulation of allegations involving cruelty to children, as this is an extremely serious characterization and is not a charge reflected in the court documentation in this matter,” the statement continues. “We are not offering excuses or asking anyone to prejudge the circumstances surrounding the case. We are simply asking that facts be reported responsibly and that inaccurate information — particularly information involving children — not continue to be repeated as fact.”

Keke is best known for her hit duet with singer Avant, titled “My first Love.” They also collaborated on the songs “You & I” and “Nothing In This World.”

Keke was nominated for the Best New R&B Artist award at the 2001 Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.

In 2012 Keke starred as a cast member in TV One’s R&B Divas: Atlanta.
