American socialite Kim Kardashian was awarded a single euro as compensation for an armed robbery in Paris, France in 2016.
Page Six reports that a Paris court awarded the reality TV star one euro, which is $1.15 in American currency.
The money was the amount of compensation Kim had asked for, according to a lawyer involved in the case.

Kim, 45, wants to move on from the robbery case after 8 senior citizens were tried and convicted in the armed robbery that made world headlines. Kim described the robbery as “the most terrifying experience of my life.”
The eight robbers forced their way into Kim’s hotel room, bound her hands with zip ties and tape and stole more than $6 million in jewelry, including a diamond ring she’d worn that night to a Givenchy show.
Six of the robbers were in their 60s and 70s when they were tried for armed robbery, kidnapping, gang association and other charges. The ringleader has since died.
Because of Kim’s reputation in America, few people believed she was the victim of a real robbery. Many assumed the robbery was a storyline for her reality TV show.
A former bodyguard for the mom-of-4 claimed the $10 million robbery was “an inside job.”
The court also awarded 1 euro to Simone Harouche, Kim’s stylist who was present during the robbery. Kim and Simone expressed gratitude to the French justice system on Tuesday.
“The experience was deeply traumatic, and its impact has stayed with us. Today’s decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition,” the pair said in a joint statement to The Associated Press.
“We are thankful to the Court and everyone who supported us throughout this process, and we hope to now move forward and continue to heal.”
The court awarded a former receptionist at the Hôtel de Pourtalès 109,516 euros ($126,472 USD), according to his lawyer. The receptionist was on duty at the hotel where Kim was robbed on October 2, 2016.

While in Paris, Kim met with shoe designer Christian Louboutin at his flagship store on Wednesday, September 16.
Christian, 62, is best known for his signature pumps featuring red lacquered soles that are coveted by celebrities, royalty, and wealthy socialites all over the world.
