Aspiring rapper NBA Ben10, who is paralyzed from the waist down, was arrested by the FBI on Thursday morning in connection with a Texas shooting earlier this year, TMZ reports.

NBA Ben10, real name Ben Fields, is in federal custody, along with five other associates.

FBI Houston Spokesperson Connor Hagen tells TMZ that 6 people were arrested Thursday, Sept. 10, in Louisiana and Texas.

The FBI did not announce the charges. The feds referred all questions to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.

If you recall, Fields, who is managed by rapper NBA YoungBoy, was severely wounded in a shooting during an attempted chain-snatching at a Dallas restaurant in April.

The shooter was later identified as Jeremy Christopher Ford, aka rapper Allstar JR.

Police say Ford opened fire on Fields and an associate, who was also wounded.

Ford reportedly stood over Fields and fired three more shots into him until his gun jammed. Ford was arrested and charged with attempted murder among charges.

The shooting left Fields, 26, paralyzed from the waist down. But that didn’t stop him from participating in gang activities.

Ford and Fields exchanged DMs after the shooting. Ford allegedly asked Fields how he felt being left alone on the floor after being shot.

Ford wrote in a post: “Had To Shoot To The D And Get New Ice Cuz My Mans Ben 10 Took Some Of My Stuff To The Hospital With Him #JRClosedTheElevatorOnRon #OG3LeftThemN****s #AllThatPlaying.”
