Back in May, rapper Lil Wayne was reportedly engaged to a woman from Indiana. Wayne kept her name secret because of bad luck with his previous engagements to at least 8 other women.
PEOPLE has identified Wayne’s betrothed as 23-year-old Madison “Madi” Cannon.

“This is my fiancée,” the 44-year-old rapper announced in a video on social media on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The video congratulated fellow Hot Boys member B.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones, aka Bodied by Brooke.
“Congratulations b*tch,” Lil Wayne said to B.G. He then pointed the camera to Madi. “And I’m marrying this one- this is Madison,” he continued.
“Congratulations,” Madi said.
“This is my fiancée,” Wayne continued. “And congratulations. Let us know what color we’re wearing. I’m the best man you hear me? Love you b*tch.”
FYI: male gang bangers and drill rappers routinely call each other “b*tch” or “b*tches”.
B.G. shared the video on his Instagram and captioned the post, “My lil Brodie gave me his blessings @liltunechi.”
Back in July, Wayne denied reports that he was engaged to Madi.
“I would like to clear something up,” he said during a livestream in July.
“No, I’m not engaged. I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person, but, obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today’s crazy world and culture, I considered, I don’t want to be such a burden on such an amazing person. So, we decided to part. Sucks.”
News of Wayne’s latest engagement to Madi comes a year after he kicked another fiancee and her daughter out of his house on Mother’s Day.
An irate Denise Bidot took to social media to report the Louisiana rapper kicked her and her daughter out of his house while she was recovering from surgery.

“Wayne literally kicked me and my daughter out on Mother’s Day today, and I’m just recovering from surgery,” the plus-size model said in livestream video. “I am five weeks out from a full mommy makeover. I can’t even lift boxes,” she said.
Denise, 40, said Lil Wayne sent people to remove her and her daughter from his home, and that he broke up with her via a “text message.”
“I know he has 2 girls being flown in today and who knows how many plethora of girls he has,” she said. “I’ve been nothing but supportive to this man. Loved him ’til the end of the f***ing world… You literally flew me – uprooted me from New York City, where I was living, and brought me here for this bullsh*t?”
