President Donald Trump is embracing AI in a big way by changing the term “artificial intelligence” to “super intelligence” (SI).

Trump announced the new term at a White House luncheon for big tech on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Tech leaders seated at Trump’s table included Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Google’s Sundar Pichai and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

Trump argued that “artificial intelligence” should be changed to SI because the word “artificial” makes the technology sound less significant.

Trump signed an executive order directing all federal agencies to use the term “super intelligence” instead of “artificial intelligence,” as part of his rebranding efforts.

Trump also unveiled the new government website, America.gov, which uses chatbots to help Americans apply for Medicare and passports.

His executive order directed all federal agencies to integrate their services with America.gov “as soon as possible.”

The website uses Google’s Gemini, OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Elon Musk’s Grok chatbots to generate responses to questions about government services.

“Anyone who has used Grok or Gemini or ChatGPT will understand instantly how to use America.gov,” Trump said.

He said Americans will be able to apply for a new Social Security card, passport, insurance, and change their name on the new website.

“Whether you’re a scout leader who wants to reserve a campsite at a national park, a senior citizen trying to choose a Medicare plan, or an American veteran trying to get the benefits that you’ve earned and so justly deserve, America.gov will be there to help,” Trump added.
