Style Diva EJ Johnson has no love for Rihanna. The gender-bending son of NBA legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson dragged the “Diamonds” singer for being an hour late for the Dior runway show.
Being tardy is one of EJ’s pet peeves.
“The show itself was beautiful. It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late, and you know, like, we didn’t care to wait for her,” EJ said in a livestream. “But the show was beautiful none the less.”

This is not EJ’s first time shading Rihanna. EJ gathered both Rihanna and Beyoncé in his Met Gala recap earlier this year. He dissed their “lackluster” outfits at the 2026 Met Gala in New York City.
EJ had harsh words for pop star Beyoncé, who wore a sheer crystal-embellished skeleton gown complete with a ribcage, spinal column and pelvic bones designed by Olivier Rousteing.

“It was the graveyard. And then the real kicker for me was Beyoncé comes in at the end, honey, like the Grim Reaper, chile. Dressed like Skeletor, honey, and just was there to break all the souls and then take everyone down to the underworld,” he joked.
EJ named Beyoncé, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian as stars “who usually dominate the carpet,” but “they all fell short.”
