Halle Berry fired back at ex-husband Olivier Martinez after he filed for a temporary restraining order amid child abuse allegations.
Martinez, 60, accused Halle, also 60, of being drunk while abusing their 12-year-old son, Maceo, during an incident at her home last Saturday. The French actor alleges Halle attacked Maceo by jumping on him and choking him, according to TMZ.
The concerned dad claims Maceo called and begged him to come and pick him up. Maceo said there had been previous attacks at their home.
Martinez says Halle texted him the next day, saying, “I feel terrible about what happened last night as I know he does as well.”

However, in her response to the TPR via an attorney, Halle said Martinez’s history of violence is the real issue.
Halle’s attorney Marina Beck tells TMZ:
“To say this filing is entirely meritless and deliberately misleading would be an understatement. There is voluminous evidence, including numerous judicial rulings, that Olivier Martinez repeatedly violated court orders and interfered with necessary therapeutic and educational interventions to the detriment of his and Halle Berry’s minor son Maceo – misconduct for which Mr. Martinez has already been legally sanctioned.”
Beck continued:
“In a way, today’s filing is not entirely unexpected from an individual with a well-documented history of erratic, possessive and violent behavior. Fortunately, Halle is used to this kind of outrageous conduct from Mr. Martinez and, while she is deeply saddened, she will not allow it to deter her from fighting for Maceo’s best interests and providing him with the love and support he needs.”
The restraining order allows Halle to see her son during supervised visits. She can’t be under the influence of alcohol or other substances, according to TMZ.
