There’s a new controversy brewing for the Democrats down in Florida — and it may involve racism.
According to Hotair.com, Democratic Senate candidate Kendrick Meek, who is black, was given a talking to by former president Bill Clinton about dropping out of the Senate race so his friend, independent Governor Charlie Crist, could win.
Clinton himself confirmed that he spoke with Meek about dropping out of the race — twice.
“He was trying to determine what was the best thing for him to do,” Clinton said in an interview with CNN’s Susan Candiotti Thursday. “I knew it was being discussed, people had discussed it on and off… it was no secret.”
Clinton allegedly told Meek to do “what he thought was right” because he thought Meek didn’t have a chance of winning.
Meek supposedly agreed on three occasions to drop out of the race, but he changed his mind after his wife convinced him that he could win.
So why is Meek now saying Clinton never asked him to quit? “[Clinton] didn’t ask me to drop out of the race,” Meek told Fox & Friends. “Kendrick Meek was never dropping out of this race, is never dropping out of this race, and will never drop out of this race.”
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele has already raised the issue of race in the matter. Mr. Steele, who is African-American, said the effort to persuade Mr. Meek, who is African-American, to quit sends a “chilling signal to all voters, but especially African Americans.” [link]

This is not the first time that Clinton has been accused of interfering in political elections. Clinton says the White House (and Obama) had no knowledge of this latest scandal. But we doubt that.
Yesterday, Meek accompanied Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade to cast his early vote in Miami. We assume Wade voted for Meek, who is beating Charlie Crist in the polls 28% to 24%. As of today, 1.7 million Floridians have already voted.
But why is Dwade watching who that woman votes for? I thought that was against the law?
Meek told Fox & Friends. “Kendrick Meek was never dropping out of this race, is never dropping out of this race, and will never drop out of this race.”
NEVER GIVE UP …NEVER QUIT… YOU KNOW WHY… BECAUSE HES………… TOO LEGIT…TOO LEGIT TO QUIT *does the TYPEWRITER OUTTA THE POST
We assume Wade voted for Meek
Does Dwade need a cheat sheet to vote too?
Go Meeks Go….And we can only hope that DWade voted for Meeks…looks like this was his FIRST TIME VOTING….smh
politiks….as usual!!!
The greatest actors are Politicians, and the world is their stage.
You general folks are the audience who think that the ‘act’ is real, but little do you know that it is all fake.
They coerce you into buying more movie tickets ( voting ), and they tell you that you will get free popcorn and drinks ( all the promises of ” I will do this and that ” ), but little do you know that it is all just a grand scale ACT.
I live in FL, Charlie C was a a Republician Gov for FL. He abandon the Republicians to run on the independent ticket … Why would Bill Clinton ask K.Meek to do such a thing or even apply for him to do what was right??? You know something about this don’t sound right at all. The whole thing was everyone (including myself for a min) didn’t think Meek had a chance after all he was running against someone who spent over 25mill of his own money for the dem ticket. Whatever the case I think that K.Meek is a good candiate and may actually win!!!
Something in the water aint clean
i thought that was dwade at first then doubted an athlete would be walking with a politician. he’s looking sexy right there, right there.
