Hidden Hills, CA – The Weeknd found a buyer for his mansion in Hidden Hills this month: fellow theatrical music-world megastar Madonna. She bought it for $19.3 million. As for the house, well, it’s a beauty. A contemporary farmhouse of 12,500 sq. ft. that sits on three acres, the home’s footprint is a big one; its interiors incorporate an LED accent-lighted gallery garage, a fitness studio and spa room, and a home theater. The grounds are filled out with a basketball court, a barn, and a small paddock. The home begins with an entry lit by two levels of glass. Its interiors are expressed with the understated, off-white-and-wood combination; the oak floors and staircase have been given a light, flat-finish stain treatment. The kitchen features a double waterfall island layout, with figured stone caps and countertops that nicely compliment the color and grain of the floors. Fleetwood doors open the home’s living spaces and master bedroom to the pool area, which sits across a slice of lawn and includes a pool house that brings the accommodations count to nine bedrooms and eleven baths.
